Network Design, Installation, Maintenance and Administration: a) Supervise the implementation of Information Technology in an efficient and timely manner, including follow-up to procurement processes and monitoring of milestones, which will involve meetings with end user and external contractors/vendors. b) Ensure the availability of timely technical assistance on network infrastructure and hardware related issues; efficiently manage services and vendor support/agreements. c) Supervise and ensure the implementation of network equipment in an efficient and timely manner with minimum disruption of services, which involve meetings with external contractors/vendors. d) Supervise and ensure that the technology at the Company in utilized in an effective manner, including IT infrastructure, communications, Internet/Intranet, etc. to meet user needs for the most up-to-date hardware and software in optimized manner. System Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Administration: a) Supervise the implementation of new system or application deployment in an efficient and timely manner, including follow-up to procurement processes and monitoring of milestones, which will involve meetings with external contractors/vendors. b) Ensure the availability of timely technical assistance for software applications and hardware related issues; efficiently manage outsourced services and vendor support/agreements. c) Impart training of software or application whenever required. d) Planning and budgeting for upcoming requirements of new system, application, and its related hardware. Data Backup and Security: k) Categorize data according to its type and usage so that frequency of backup can be defined. l) Define schedule of data backup according to its type, data point objective and time required to take each type of backup. Translate the data backup schedule in data backup software. The schedule should be optimized mix and match of Incremental, Differential and Full Back up. m) Monitoring of data backup process for its success and failure. In case of failure, investigate the reason and manage to resolve the problem soonest possible. n) Removing backup media and arrange to store it to proper location as defined by the process and procedure. Miscellaneous Duties a) Provide on the job training and assistance and help develop capabilities of subordinates to enable them to perform their job effectively and efficiently. b) Provide ongoing feedback in an objective and effective manner and appraise performance of any subordinates reporting to the position. c) Operate within established ERM policies and procedures and manage job-related risks within established risk thresholds; Obtain management authorizations for risks beyond individual tolerance thresholds. d) Comply to end user policies, procedures and guidelines for all quality standards currently in force and facilitate and provide necessary support in any audits conducted in own department as per audit role assigned. e) Assume full responsibility for performing HSE related duties and roles as envisaged by HSE policies and standards.
