Software Application Support Specialist

We are Laboratory Information System (LIS) solution developer & provider. Our clients includes Pathological Lab in major hospitals (government & private) throughout Malaysia. Our head office and R&D center is located in Puchong, Selangor, and we have sales representatives, engineers and application specialist covering different region throughout the country. We are looking for suitable candidate to join us to expand our business, including overseas market. If you think you have the credentials, personality and a strong desire to excel, you are welcome to apply this position. Responsibilities: Provide technical guidance and training to customers. To provide onsite support and troubleshooting (investigating, validating and resolving reported issues). To assist programming and technical team to collect information and requirement from end users and liaise between programming / technical team and end users. To assist project deployment team in coordinating and implementation during project deployment. Create end-user documentation and instructions for software solutions and maintain/update such documentation as system changes dictate. Perform basic application testing to help ensure quality software releases. Be the liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams in order to aid project scope, manage budgets and ensure effective rollout and training of new technologies. Provides advice, training and technical support for various projects as required. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by Management. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Medical Lab Technologist, biomedical or related science field Working experience in medical / pathology lab and familiar with Laboratory Information System operation will be added advantage. However, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. Willing to travel and be based in deployment sites during project implementation. Possess own transport (car). Excellent problem-solving, communication and, interpersonal skills along with patience, a customer-friendly attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment.
