- Kitchen porters wash and clean kitchen areas, including pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and dishes.
- They prepare the kitchen area before service, and receive and store supplies.
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage room and ensure garbage drums are located at its designated location after clearance.
- Make sure all the plates, trays, glassware, pots and pans are arranged in proper way.
- Check sorting, pre-wash and stacking to see that the machine is running smoothly.
- Ensure that the racks are not overloaded.
- Control of detergent and compound use daily.
