Yee Lee Marketing is a joint-ventured company between Yee Lee Corporation and TCP Group, the owner of world renown energy drink brand, Red Bull, since 2023.

Together, both companies possess an extensive marketing and distribution network with strong business development capabilities covering various trade channels directly and via sub-distributors in West Malaysia and East Malaysia for famous FMCG’s brands from beverages to household products: Red Bull Malaysia, Red Eagle, Vesawit, Spritzer, Cactus, Red Bull International, BIC, Warrior, Vanzo Malaysia and etc.

Responsibilities:

  • To lead & handle a brand in achieving the business objectives for designated channels.
  • To work for hand in hand with the brands' owner in developing strategies & plans for designated channels according to the drumbeat timeline.
  • To ensure the fund is being utilized as per the targeted objective within the budget given.
  • Periodically review of post-evaluation of the past activities & areas for improvement.
  • Take ownership of, and manage, a customer management business process that ensures effective communication and liaison between Sales, Marketing, and other departments to optimize key business opportunities.
  • To work closely with the sales team via monthly deployment in translating the plans into execution.
  • Develop & recommend channel strategy in line with category development and brand mid-term plans.
  • Develop focused trade strategies for categories in each key account and trade channel.
  • Category analysis and data analytics to identify distribution gaps, and channel development opportunities in the assigned categories and brand portfolio.
  • Ensure full understanding of changing trade dynamics and development in the FMCG industry to propose effective channel & sales strategies.
  • To lead in driving trade fundamentals i.e. establish the right merchandising guidelines & types of POSMs according to different channels.
  • Design and monitor a competitive activity feedback report to track the frequency and types of promotions
  • Keep track, analyze and evaluate accounts' profitability.
  • To have a tracking exercise on measuring the promo effectiveness.
  • To ascertain new product launches, distribution tracking, and secondary.
  • Monthly and quarterly business reviews with relevant stakeholders to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of consumer goods industry experience with exposure to retailers required.
  • Very strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated analytical, project management, and leadership skills.
  • The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must
  • Creative mind, not afraid to question and improve the “status quo”
  • Some Technical Knowledge of POS Production (Print, Permanent, Temporary) preferred
  • People management experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with Agencies or Production suppliers preferred
