Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Financial Operations Support:

Assist in recording daily transactions, such as patient payments, supplier invoices, and expense claims, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

  • Invoicing and Billing:

Support the generation and processing of clinic invoices for suppliers and patients. Assist in monitoring outstanding payments and follow up on collections.

  • Cash Management:

Help manage daily cash receipts and payments, including processing deposits and handling cash flow under supervision.

  • Liaison with HQ Accounts & Finance Department:

Communicate with the HQ finance team regarding financial reports, monthly reconciliations, and queries related to clinic finances.

  • Bank Reconciliation:

Assist in preparing monthly bank reconciliations and help ensure that all discrepancies are resolved.

  • Petty Cash Management:

Assist in tracking petty cash transactions and ensure accurate documentation for petty cash disbursements.

  • Inventory and Procurement Assistance:

Provide support in tracking inventory-related transactions and processing supplier payments for clinic purchases.

  • Financial Reporting:

Help prepare basic financial reports and summaries for the clinic and HQ, including expense tracking, revenue reports, and cash flow statements.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records, ensuring compliance with internal controls and Malaysian accounting standards.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or a recent graduate in the same.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with HQ.
  • No prior experience is necessary; however, any internship or practical training experience in an accounting or finance role would be beneficial.
