Our Client is seeking skilled NPI (New Product Introduction) Project Engineers to lead the transition of new products from prototype to mass production, ensuring smooth, high-quality manufacturing processes.

Our Focus:
As an NPI Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in introducing new products to our manufacturing line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing processes, ensuring that all products meet our high-quality standards while achieving project goals on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Product Development: Collaborate with product development teams to understand product specifications and provide input to improve manufacturability.
  • Develop Manufacturing Processes: Design and implement manufacturing processes, including work instructions, SOPs, and best practices for new products.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Oversee prototype builds, conduct tests, and optimize products based on test results.
  • Tooling & Equipment Management: Identify and source the necessary tools and equipment for production, ensuring readiness for mass manufacturing.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control plans to guarantee that products meet both internal and customer standards.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage NPI projects, tracking progress, resolving issues, and meeting project deadlines.

Key Competencies:

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards, especially in electronics and plastics.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach with a keen eye for details.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in NPI or manufacturing engineering.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
  • Experience with box build, PCBA, and household products is highly desirable.
  • Experience with the China market is a plus.
