Engineer, Sales & Service Operations

Job Descriptions:

• Responsible in overall tendering exercise and project implementation.
• Responsible in preparation of package proposals, execution of the purchase orders, monitoring projects progress and schedule of delivery, co-ordinate flow of project information between the principals and clients, interfacing with the principal’s representative and the fabricators during the installation of the equipment / module.
• Maintain customer relations with key customers in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Evaluate and maintain at site servicing progress.
• Address of customer’s issues and complaints.
• Follow-up with customer and vendor in completing service work.
• Monitoring payment schedule, invoicing and liaising with Account Department on project payment transactions.
• To collect competitive information and to conduct lost sales analysis.
• To plan and formulate strategy to improve rate of success in future tender bids.
• To oversee, plan, organize and monitor the entire branch operations especially for the East and Peninsular Maintenance Contracts with related to Rotating Equipment Maintenance in term of revenue generated and contract costing in order to ensure the desired profits are achieved.
• Enforce, implement and maintenance of company’s policy, procedures, rules and regulation.
• To execute all procurement related activities in compliance to Group Policies and Authorities (GPA), Group Procurement Policies and Authorities (GPPA) and Also SDO Industrial’s procurement Standard Operating Procedures (Procurement SOPs).
• To provide technical support in project execution, maintenance services, commissioning activities, turnaround and maintenance jobs and site visits.
• To assists in reviewing the project thoroughly and dealing with required documentation throughout the bidding exercise.

Job Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years’ working experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
• Degree in Engineering (Preferably in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent).
• Familiar with tender preparation and tender requirement process.
• Familiarity with oil and gas-related products is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Caterpillar engines rating and system.
