Job Responsibilities :

Mainly managing merchant risk and performing new/existing business & product risk assessment, as well as assisting business continuity management, enterprise, operational & technology risk for Razer Fintech group level across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia as per following:

  • Establish and implement Merchant & Third-Party Agent/Partner Risk Management framework, tools, methodologies and processes to analyse and report merchant risk profile and scoring matrix.
  • Review, enhance and update existing internal documentations such as Merchant Onboarding and Third-Party Agent/Partner Selection framework and SOPs.
  • Assist sales and operation teams to perform due diligence processes related to Merchant Risk, Third Party Agent/Partner & KYC/Onboarding related matters.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks such as New and/or Existing Business & Product Risk Assessment and provide risk related advisory to various stakeholders.
  • Build up a risk management culture and awareness within the company.

Pre-Requisites :

Experience

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience in a specific industry (e.g., banking, insurance, fintech) is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in relevant software MS Word, Ms Excel & Ms PowerPoint.
  • Experience conducting due diligence/KYC is a plus.
  • Conduct risk assessments for projects and products.
  • Provide risk advisory on the exceptional handling cases and including recommended solutions.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in risk management, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications, such as Bank Risk Management or Financial Risk Management, will be considered an advantage.

Analytical Skills

  • Ability to analyse complex data and identify trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of relevant laws and regulations.

Team player and able to work effectively with diverse teams.
