Job Summary:

Achievement of sales goals and development of sales growth opportunities through new or existing customers. Support and grow business for Corteco Europe in the ASEAN region, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan. Approximate travel amount of 45%, which will include international travel.

Job Responsibilities:

Use appropriate level of authority and/or use appropriate means to accomplish the following:

  • Set strategic direction for segment and development of new sales through prospect customers in accordance with strategy.
  • Servicing of current customer base for maintenance and growth of existing business.
  • Account management, including but not limited to daily sales calls, customer visits, development of demand forecast, management and execution of account plans and growth summary as well as sales activities planning.
  • Communication of customer needs, risks and opportunities, circumstances affecting customer satisfaction, industry news and competitor activity; and recommendation of pertinent improvement actions.
  • Executing projects for market expansion as well as analysis of new market potentials
  • Work with marketing area to develop pricing proposals and suggest marketing driven customer initiatives.

  • Provide excellent customer service and technical support to customers. opportunities for new products following segment’s procedures.
  • Manage T&E expenses to be contained within budget and support continuous cost savings initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with technical automotive knowledge.
  • 3-5 years of sales/account management experience in the B2B market; Automotive preferred.
  • Attributes of high motivation, due diligence, self-initiative, and strategic approach to sales welcome.
  • Market analysis and forecasting experience required.
  • Fact-based decision-making approach: proven ability to reconcile conflicting needs to obtain consensus from multiple views; excellent communication & presentation skills as well as strong negotiation skills.
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office, SAP is an advantage.
  • Have knowledge in sealing and vibration control products.
  • Must be able to converse in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.
  • Ability to converse in foreign language is preferred (Thai OR Korean OR Japanese language)
