Assistant Manager, Fixed Income and Currencies

Looking for dynamic individual(s) to join an investment and trading team with a private-office associated with one of the largest conglomerates in the country with extensive financial resources. The team will be running a multi-asset portfolio with an initial focus on fixed income, credits and markets products such as foreign exchanges and derivatives. The team will also manage outsourcing engagement with external fund managers on a global basis.

Job Scope

Monitoring and provide updates on key macroeconomic developments and impact on rates and FX

  • Perform credit research, investment evaluation, periodic review and monitoring of news flow for companies with exposure
  • Assist in monitoring and managing in house fixed income portfolios and FX positions
  • Assist in preparing periodic reports on market and portfolio updates for senior managements/board
  • Assist in monitoring hedge funds performance

Requirements

  • At least 1-5 years’ experience in Accounting/ Finance, Investment, Economics or related field of work.
  • Key experience required: Research especially in macroeconomics, FX, rates or fixed income
  • MBA / Degree with 1st Class or 2:1 in Accounting, Finance and Economics
  • CFA is desired (completed or ongoing)
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written
  • Able to work with all levels and a good team player
