Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end shipment processes including documentation, customs clearance, and logistics coordination.
  • Manage import/export documentation such as LCs (Letter of Credit), BLs (Bill of Lading), and other related shipping documents.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
  • Monitor shipment schedules and resolve any logistical issues or delays proactively.
  • Maintain a well-organized system for tracking and managing shipment-related documents and schedules.
  • Pay close attention to detail to avoid errors in shipment documentation and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and adapt to various time zones and work schedules to coordinate with international stakeholders.
  • Work effectively under pressure to meet shipment deadlines and delivery schedules.
  • Handle any ad-hoc assignments and complete them within a very short timeframe.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in handling international shipments.
  • In-depth knowledge of international shipping practices, customs regulations, and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in handling LCs, BLs, and other shipping-related documents.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and the capability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
