Job Description for Service Engineer (Fire Truck)

  • · Plan, manage, supervise, and execute job/purchase order for project to ensure smooth implementation within schedule, quality, and costs.
  • Perform fire truck related service, maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair work where required
  • Manage paperwork such as job checklists and job reports including obtaining client approval and prompt submission to finance department for billing.
  • Carry out weekly site visit to client’s site, evaluate potential issues or improvements and to document daily site activity in weekly report to immediate supervisor
  • Weekly submission of job report which includes current work order progress to immediate supervisor.
  • Monitor performance of the contractors and or suppliers to ensure compliance to all requirements and procedures.
  • Assist tender team on technical documents preparation, review of technical requirements and other requirements
  • Comply with Safety, Health and Environmental regulations and safe working practices.
  • Perform any other duties as directed from time to time by immediate superior and Management.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in automotive or equivalent
  • Relevant 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance and services of heavy-duty vehicle and automotive.
  • Salary remuneration offered is based on candidate experience and qualification.
  • Oil and Gas Experience is an added advantage.
