Senior Marketing Manager

Payzana is a leading fintech app in Botswana, offering peer-to-peer payments, retail transactions, and a variety of digital financial services. We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Head to spearhead our marketing initiatives, expand market presence, and drive growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to the fintech landscape in Botswana, with a future focus on India.
• Lead all aspects of digital marketing, branding, and customer acquisition efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and tech, to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
• Utilize data analytics to track marketing performance, optimize campaigns, and ensure a high return on investment (ROI).
• Build and lead a marketing team to support growth efforts across multiple regions.

• Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, preferably within the fintech or digital payments industry.
• Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and marketing automation systems.
• Strong proficiency with data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to measure performance and drive success.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire teams, and work collaboratively across departments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in marketing fintech products, particularly in emerging markets like Africa or Asia.
• Familiarity with programmatic advertising, AI-driven marketing tools, and customer journey mapping.
