JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Departmental Leadership:
• Lead and manage the Rehab Department, including supervising Senior Rehab Therapists and other rehabilitation staff.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures in alignment with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Ensure that all rehabilitation services meet the highest standards of care and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of the rehabilitation team.
Operational Management:
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the rehabilitation department, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal use of resources.
• Coordinate staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and the smooth operation of therapy sessions.
• Monitor and maintain rehabilitation equipment and facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and up to date.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of care.
• Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
• Oversee billing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue growth, including new services, partnerships, and grants.
Clinical Oversight:
• Ensure that all patient care protocols and treatment plans are evidence-based and consistent with best practices.
• Participate in complex case reviews, providing clinical guidance and support to the therapy team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans for patients with complex needs.
• Monitor patient outcomes and satisfaction, using data to drive continuous improvement in clinical services.
Strategic Planning and Development:
• Contribute to the strategic planning of the rehabilitation department, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement new rehabilitation programs and services to meet emerging patient needs and market demands.
• Foster relationships with external partners, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and community organizations.
• Represent the department in organizational meetings, ensuring that the needs and goals of the rehabilitation team are communicated and addressed.
Staff Development and Mentorship:
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the rehabilitation team, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff, identifying areas for improvement and professional development.
• Organize and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and continuing education opportunities for the rehab team.
• Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and high standards of patient care.

QUALIFICATION:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Healthcare Management, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Advanced certifications in rehabilitation management or a specialized area of physiotherapy are desirable.
Experience:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in rehabilitation therapy, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven experience in managing a multidisciplinary team and overseeing departmental operations.
