· Supplier Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous deals.
· Procurement Process:
• Create and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet the organization's needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
· Cost Management:
• Analyze market trends and assess potential risks and opportunities to inform procurement decisions.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and reliability of supply.
• Conduct cost analysis and negotiate pricing to ensure best value for money.
· Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analyses and supplier performance.
· Vendor Performance:
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Address any issues with suppliers promptly to ensure service levels are maintained.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement plans with suppliers as needed.
· Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments, such as finance, operations, and production, to understand and fulfill their procurement needs.
• Collaborate on product development and sourcing projects.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods.
· Additional Duties:
• Execute any other duties as assigned by the management to support the goals and objectives of the organization.

Founded in 1995, Sunmow is a partnership company owned by Kong Chiong Miew and Lim Siek Ling. Early on, the decision was made to create a business model with a simple focus on general civil works, working as a subcontractor – engaging in public and private sector projects of all sizes.
