Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee and manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s Employment Act, SOCSO, Industrial Relations Act 1967, LHDN, and other relevant regulations.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including payroll management and employee benefits.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Conduct performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and career development planning.
- Oversee training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Maintain up-to-date HR records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and changes in legislation to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR management experience, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
- Extensive knowledge of Malaysia’s Employment Act, SOCSO, Industrial Relations Act 1967, LHDN, and other related regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems.
