KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure the support to the system and application problems in production environment being performed in an efficient and effective manner
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of on-prem/cloud network infrastructure, servers, storage, databases, and telephony systems.
  • Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of IT operational and infrastructure strategies to ensure seamless service delivery, system availability, and compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM/RMiT).
  • Manage strategic vendor relationships, including product and service evaluations, to ensure best-in-class infrastructure and operational services.
  • Build and lead a high-performing IT Operations and Infrastructure team, ensuring proper training, development, and certifications for key technologies.
  • Provides infrastructure services vision, enables innovation, and seeks to leverage IT trends that can create business value consistent with the company’s requirements and expectations.
  • Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving leadership and participation for complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades and operational troubleshooting.
  • Manages all infrastructure operations and evaluate appropriateness and need for modifications according to established company goals, legal and regulatory requirements, and system
  • Establish IT Infrastructure goals, objectives, operating procedures, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Measure and report on metrics and KPIs daily, weekly, monthly, annually.
  • Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity.

Additionally, to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strategic steward and credible activist to scale the implementation of operation excellence practices effectively and economically through building a high performing ITO&I team that is responsible on the following areas:

•On-Prem / Cloud Network infrastructure

•Server Management

•Database Management

•Service Desk Support/IT Support

•Incident & Change Management

•DevOps

•Disaster Recovery

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Develop and maintain an appropriate IT Infrastructure structure that supports the needs of the business.
  • Ensure IT Infrastructure operations adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure upgrades to the existing Infrastructure are implemented timely and appropriately.
  • Develop, recommend, coordinate, and implement new or revised Infrastructure procedures, policies, and programs to ensure continued effectiveness.
  • Ensure continuous delivery of IT Infrastructure through oversight of service level agreements with end users, vendors and monitoring of IT systems performance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field of study required.
  • Broad knowledge of diverse aspects of IT systems. 15+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
  • Previous experience managing IT Infrastructure functions in large organizations.
  • Significant prior experience managing and motivating people.
  • Needs to be experienced in creating and implementing IT Infrastructure policies and systems.
  • Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT Infrastructure and specifications. Previous experience in developing and managing a significant information Technology Infrastructure budget
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends with a broad understanding of computer systems and software standards
  • Proven experience in leading IT operations and infrastructure teams, with a focus on network, server, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Hands-on technical expertise in infrastructure systems, including disaster recovery, network monitoring, and complex implementations.
  • Experience with regulatory requirements related to IT operations (e.g., BNM/RMiT) and a solid understanding of business continuity practices.
  • Strong leadership, vendor management, and budget oversight skills.
  • Detailed oriented and adept at anticipating user behaviour and innovative in identifying opportunities for improvement/problem-solving
