Job Brief:

Responsible for financial analysis and reporting, ensuring data accuracy, and leveraging Microsoft Office tools for reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Knowledge of SAP/BI systems is a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the finance team in preparing and recording Management Expenses data and journals, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Assist in creating commentary for monthly performance reports and segment-level financial statements.
  • Participate in the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and regular variance analyses. You will also contribute to ad hoc financial reporting tasks.
  • Track and monitor all company expenses, ensuring adherence to budget limitations and company policies.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis of Management Expenses data to identify potential areas for cost savings or improvement.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing their inquiries related to financial information and trends.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes by automating reporting procedures and reviewing existing protocols.
  • Support specific projects aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the financial planning process.
  • Utilize SAP/BI tools to generate insightful dashboards for business analytics.
  • Conduct prompt ad hoc business reporting and analysis as required.
  • Participate in MFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts) finance tasks, including data extraction and analysis. You will work closely with the actuarial department to ensure accurate financial reporting under this standard.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of SAP/BI systems is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
