You are responsible for overseeing financial activities and operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and profitability. Your role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks effectively.

Responsibility/ Duties

  • Manage all banking matters, including paperwork and queries related to hire purchase (HP) and banking facilities.
  • Coordinate with the company secretary on secretarial matters, including preparing necessary documents for tenders.
  • Ensure timely renewal of road tax and insurance for vehicles and machinery at both head office and site locations.
  • Oversee the issuance and management of fuel cards for vehicles and machinery, handling issues related to damage, new cards, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Manage company SIM cards, including activation, cancellation, and suspension as needed.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets as required.
  • Respond promptly to urgent matters and ad hoc requests from senior management.

Requirement

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within the railway track or transportation industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience in managing banking relationships and facilities.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
