Global Logistics Manager

Overall:

Our Company is seeking a detailed-oriented and strategic Global Logistics Manager to oversee our international shipment operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven ability to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a logistic team to achieve department and organizational goals.
• Manage all aspect of international shipments, including planning, execution and delivery to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
• Develop and maintain relationship with carrier and freight forwarders, negotiating contracts and service level agreement.
• Ensure all shipment comply with national laws and regulations, customs requirement and safety standards.
• Optimizing shipment pricing and service quality.
• Collaborate with inventory control teams to ensure adequate stock level, minimize excess inventory and support demand forecasting.
• Work closely with procurement, sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless supply chain.
• Enhance the shipment traceability performance, generate reports and perform data-driven decisions.
• Address and resolve logistics challenges in timely manner.
• Perform general office duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in international logistics or supply chain management.
• Experience in supply chain management with U.S shipments is an added advantage.
• Possesses ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priority.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in ERP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. Proficiency in Mandarin both spoken and written is highly desirable.
• Possess own transport.
• Applicants must be willing to work in our Factory in Shah Alam, Selangor.
