  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Identification: Research and identify potential suppliers for materials and components.
  • RFQ Management: Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to suppliers.
  • Specification Development: Develop clear specifications and requirements for materials needed.
  • Supplier Evaluation: Assess supplier responses to RFQs based on pricing, quality, and delivery capabilities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and terms with selected suppliers to secure optimal pricing and conditions.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all procured materials meet industry regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO).
  • Collaboration: Work with engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to align procurement strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and pricing to inform procurement decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience in procurement within the medical device industry preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month
