The Opportunity

Our partner is an accounting expert, ‘Built by Founders to serve Founders’ gives the power to take control of entrepreneurs' finances and gain clarity and confidence for startups, scaling companies, and established enterprises.

Our client believes the people are at the core of the solution that they provide and in line with the team expansion, they are currently hiring for Financial Reporting Accountant to be based in The Gardens North Tower office (next to Mid Valley).

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 3.30pm.
  • Arrangement: Hybrid, onsite for 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparations and analysis of financial statements and reports.
  • Research accounting rules and regulations and make recommendations to deliver better service to external clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of financial reports.
  • Assist in tracking the financial performance against the budget and provide feedback to the Client Managers.
  • Work closely with external clients to understand their requirements and assist with their reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of working experience in Financial Reporting preferably from Australian Financial Institutions.
  • Experience using Fathom, Xero, and the Google Suite is essential.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
