This is our commitment to change lives worldwide.The Executive- Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for managing and optimizing Novugen strategic sourcing and procurement of Pharmaceutical packaging material, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries of materials critical to Novugen’s operating markets. The incumbent should be well versed in areas of pharmaceutical procurement and supply chain deliverables.

About the role

The Executive, IT acts as the first line of support. Attending to user departments IT-related issues that may be encountered on daily operations.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Proaactive and take appropriate decisions on the ground in support of call resolutions.
  • Perform on-site and/or remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and department and pertinent questions.
  • Set up, configure, and deployment of user workstations
  • Maintain a daily log of activities in the support desk system.
  • Practice collaboration and be part of the solution attitude towards all professional engagements.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the daily backup completion as per schedule and to assist the supervisor during the system restoration.
  • Coordinate with vendors on equipment or services procurements, delivery, repairs, returns of defective equipment, warranty claims, services visits scheduling on a need basis, and others as necessary under directions of the immediate supervisor.
  • Exercise adaptability, credibility, and integrity in all engagements and communications.
  • Shall be assigned additional tasks by the immediate supervisor based on business requirements.

About you

Job Requirement:

  • Preferably Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as helpdesk or technical support within the manufacturing industry.
  • Has knowledge of deploying and configuring end user's workstations.
  • Proficiency in Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of backup and restore operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
