Implement, monitor, and report environmental management plans (EMP) related to effluent treatment and sustainability practices. 5. Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems and equipment. 6. Ensure compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974, relevant regulations, and local environmental laws. 7. Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the Department of Environment (DOE) and relevant authorities as required. 8. Record and analyze water treatment plant data, documenting operational activities, efficiency, and performance metrics. 9. Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify areas for reducing water usage and optimizing wastewater treatment processes. 10. Conduct staff training on environmental management practices, water treatment processes, and compliance with environmental laws. 11. Assist in implementing sustainable water management initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint of the plant.
