  • Follow all plant safety requirements and participate in activities to continuously improve safety performance. Lead/participate in department and site safety initiatives including attending and leading safety meetings as assigned.
  • Comply to work procedures (SOPs), Synthomer Policies, Code of Conduct, Employee handbook, Core Values, SHEMS, SHE principles/10 golden rules, safety induction, QMS procedures and regulatory requirements to meet departmental objectives and ensure work activities are performed safely.
  • Establish system, methodology and tool for efficient and effective maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Identify schedule breaker and slot in the schedule for immediate execution to minimise the impact to SHE, plant availability, quality and delivery.
  • Plan maintenance planned shutdown activities and resources requirements– turnaround, statutory inspection and major equipment services/ overhauls.
  • Ensure that all the necessary materials and spare parts are available for the planned maintenance and meet the required quantity and quality jobs.
  • Review and revise inventories of the spare parts and ensure their availability in coordination with the maintenance planning.
  • Define specifications of sub-contracted jobs and or technical specifications for the purchase of the spare parts together with the key stakeholders / users.
  • Update equipment technical information and data in the Document Control/Plant Asset Database.
  • Ensure service contracts are available and remain valid for selected services.
  • Manage maintenance budget and achieve asset availability by good maintenance planning .
Requirements:
1. Degree with minimum 5-10 years’ experience in plant maintenance and 3 years in planning or scheduling job function.
2. Good planning skill, able to liaise with DOSH for inspection arrangement.
3. Machinery troubleshooting experience.
4. IT savvy, excel, maintenance module for SAP
