We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance Consolidation to prepare and review monthly consolidated financial reports and ensure data accuracy across subsidiaries. The role also involves supporting quarterly Bursa announcements, group audits, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial reports and dashboards after every month end close to management
  • Review monthly financial data of all subsidiaries and be able identify trends, variances and unusual items while working closely with local finance teams to ensure data accuracy.
  • Assist in preparing the quarterly report for Bursa announcement
  • Support the annual group audit and liaise with both the group and subsidiaries' auditors for timely completion of statutory audit.
  • Review the financial statements of the investment holding entities under the Group on a monthly basis

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, a professional qualification (ACCA/ CPA/ ICAEW/ MICPA) or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience including minimum 2 years of group consolidation experience; prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm will be considered;
  • Strong accounting knowledge in MFRS / IFRS; good knowledge of accounting standards within Asia;
  • Experience in implementation of finance systems, and a keen interest in process improvements using technology;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex scenarios;
  • Experience in finance function within a public listed company in Malaysia will be a plus point.
