DESCRIPTION:

The Project Manager is responsible for independently leading complex information technology projects. The Project Manager should be able to work with Senior Project Management and Engineering professionals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects
  • Implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology to ensure profitable and successful execution of consulting engagements as measured by regional goals and customer satisfaction
  • Manage day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple or large-scale projects
  • Minimize our exposure and risk across multiple projects
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Manage and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization across projects
  • Review high-level deliverables across projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related field
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Professional Services environment, leading complex Information Technology projects is required
  • PMP / PRINCE2 Practitioner certification is preferred
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Clarity, Jira, ServiceNow etc. is preferred
  • Excellent understanding of financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports around cost and time accounting and project P&L
  • Working knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Proven experience with project planning, scheduling, risk management and change management is required
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track to established project timelines
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel and the ability to write business reports in a well-organized manner
  • Ability to work well with multiple teams simultaneously and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
