Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Support to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, focusing on healthcare-specific applications and systems. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to healthcare applications and general IT systems.
  • Assist users with login issues, system navigation, and application usage.

Healthcare Systems Support:

  • Manage user accounts and permissions for healthcare applications.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and address their IT needs.

Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT resources.
  • Respond to system alerts and take necessary corrective actions.

User Training and Documentation:

  • Conduct training sessions for staff on IT best practices and system usage.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Create user manuals and training materials.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with our IT related vendor to resolve complex issues.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to understand their technical needs.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for technical support and system maintenance.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
