Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Support to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, focusing on healthcare-specific applications and systems. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a customer-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to healthcare applications and general IT systems.
- Assist users with login issues, system navigation, and application usage.
Healthcare Systems Support:
- Manage user accounts and permissions for healthcare applications.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and address their IT needs.
Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Perform regular system maintenance, updates, and backups.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT resources.
- Respond to system alerts and take necessary corrective actions.
User Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions for staff on IT best practices and system usage.
- Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Create user manuals and training materials.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with our IT related vendor to resolve complex issues.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to understand their technical needs.
- Liaise with third-party vendors for technical support and system maintenance.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary.
- Strong customer service orientation.
