The Area Sales Executive / Manager is responsible in overseeing the business operations within assigned region and ensuring success of sales performance of business accounts. This role is the key person to focus on driving sales and establish effective sales strategies to achieve the business and personal goals. The ideal candidate will be someone who are aggressive, passionate in working towards targets and sales driven.

Job Description

  • To manage distributors within assigned region. Responsible in sales planning and coaching sales team into meeting business direction and strategies, ensuring achievement of sales target.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies relevant to the trade and channel.
  • Planning of route to market strategy in area of distribution and coverage for total assigned region.
  • Collaboration with distributor sales team and PIC to drive and increase both shipment and in market sales.
  • Exploration of new business opportunities and drive distribution across channels within the General Trade business.
  • Effective trade spend management in devising effective promo plans and optimizing budget utilization.
  • Work closely and coach distributor sales team to ensure trade execution excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant business-related field.
  • Minimum 2 - 3 years of sales experience required; some of which must be with a strong consumer brand.
  • Well verse in managing business operation within Southern region (i.e: Johor, Malacca and Negeri Sembilan).
  • Experience of creating change, challenging the status quo, establishing a product category or brand with entrepreneurial spirit.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
