Position Summary
  • Head, Digital and Innovation Learning will play a pivotal strategic role in driving the digital transformation of MAB Academy's learning and development initiatives. This role oversees the creation and execution of forward-thinking digital training strategies that align with the Company’s broader business objectives. The position focuses on building strategic partnerships with external stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and positioning MAB Academy as a leader in innovative learning solutions. The successful candidate will ensure that MAG's workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving aviation industry.
Key Accountability
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive digital training strategy that aligns with MAB Academy’s long-term objectives, leveraging digital technologies to enhance workforce capabilities and prepare employees for future challenges.
  • Partnership Development: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with external stakeholders, including industry leaders, technology providers, academic institutions, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment with industry standards and integration of the latest training innovations.
  • Curriculum Innovation: Lead the strategic design and development of learning programs that extend beyond digital training, incorporating both immersive, hands-on experiences and digital tools. Ensure the curriculum is cutting-edge, scalable, and meets the evolving needs of the aviation industry, enhancing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Technology Integration: Drive the adoption of the latest digital tools and platforms to create impactful learning experiences. Ensure that MAB Academy remains at the forefront of technological advancements in learning and development.
  • Learning Experience Strategy: Develop and implement learner-centric strategies that foster engagement, retention, and practical application of skills, contributing to overall organizational success.
  • External Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with external partners to ensure MAB Academy's training programs remain competitive and meet industry and regulatory requirements. Leverage these relationships to continuously improve training content and delivery.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making strategic improvements to align with MAB Academy’s broader organizational goals.
  • Fostering a Learning Culture: Promote and sustain a culture of continuous and aggressive learning, encouraging employees to regularly upskill and adapt to the changing needs of the aviation industry.
  • Upskilling for Future Readiness: Strategically lead initiatives to upskill employees across key aviation roles, ensuring they are prepared to meet both current and future regulatory requirements and industry advancements.
Qualification & Working Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, computer science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in related fields.
Area of Experience
  • Proven strategic leadership experience in designing and implementing learning programs.
  • Managing partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Integrating digital learning platforms.
  • Applying strong analytical and strategic thinking to improve training initiatives for long-term success.
