We are looking for:
Buyer
Industry: Plastic
Location: Ulu Tiram, Johor
Job Description:
- Liaise with planner(s) for materials and parts ordering.
- Expedite the materials and parts with suppliers and sub-con when required.
- Ensure the materials are able to support the daily production operation.
- Generate PO, DO and invoice when required
- Update and maintain Store Inventory system.
- Check quantity, price and update purchase order delivery status.
- Liaise with forwarder for the air/truck/sea shipment arrangement.
- Support store for any data input and output of the Store Inventory system.
- Liaise and verify with Account department regarding invoices.
- Liaise with suppliers if they have any query on purchase order status, delivery mode and etc.
- To support planning department in the following job function when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
- 2-4 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in manufacturing.
