1. Monitor the daily operations of reservations.

2. Control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield and blackout dates.

3. Develop and conduct rooms-based marketing activities.

4. Track sales programs/promotions/advertising and evaluate contemporary sales and marketing initiatives and trends to provide feedback as necessary to relevant departments.

5. Track and establish pick up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate forecasting.

6. Monitor front office tracking of guest history data.

7. Create and maintain allotments for Corporate or Travel Agent account. Ensure all Groups are contracted.

8. Ensure accuracy of guest history and client profiles in Database.

9. Conduct market research and analysis and track market codes.

10. Using the tools provided and in compliance with the MHI standards, maintains, updates and shares information in the areas of a master calendar of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPAR penetration (RGI), arrival and spending patterns of commercial accounts, denial reports, meeting space allocation, guest capture ratio (with the F&B Manager), Loyalty program contribution both overall and by account (and for bookers), channel performance and trends in rooms and non-rooms revenues by channel, segment and account.

11. Understand the composition of hotel profitability, and uses this to evaluate business from local accounts and groups so as to provide input to future rate setting and negotiation.

12. Monitor competitor pricing for all revenue generating departments, understands the dynamic of the local market and the demand generators, and recommends appropriate actions to the hotel team in weekly revenue meeting in relation to the hotel’s pricing and market mix strategy.

13. Conduct weekly rate/sell strategy (yield) meetings with General Manager, Hotel Manager, DOSM/DOS, Reservations Manager, Front Office Manager, F&B Director and Finance Controller
