Position: Maintenance Technician (Chinese Speaker)

Industry: Food Manufacturing

Working Location: Gelang Patah, Johor

Salary: RM4k to RM7K (can be negotiate, commensurate with experience and previous salary)

Job Descriptions:

  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on factory equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
  • Lubricate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic breakdowns.
  • Maintain and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks on factory facilities, such as plumbing, electrical wiring, and building structures.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the factory environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns.

Qualifications Required:

  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience in maintaining industrial equipment and facilities.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and principles.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must be able to work in Gelang Patah and communicate in both English and Chinese.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Certification in HVAC or related fields.
  • Experience with electrical systems and controls.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software and tools.
