Job Summary

The QA Manager leads the quality assurance team and manages the Integrated Management System (IMS) for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001. The role ensures compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards, driving continues improvement in product quality, workplace safety, and environmental sustainability. The QA Manager oversees all product certifications and internal audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

Implement Integrated Management System (IMS)

  • Oversee the implementation of integrated management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001)

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with product regulatory requirements and international standards.

Audits and Certifications

  • Lead internal and external audits, ensure follow-up actions, and maintain certifications.

Product Testing & Certifications

  • Manage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Liaise with notified bodies for certifications (EU Type-examination, ISEGA, REACH, Protein Content). Assist Sales & Marketing with customer inquiries related to product certifications.

Quality Initiatives

  • Lead initiatives to improve product quality level.

Team Leadership

  • Lead the QA team (QA & RA Executive, QC Inspectors) ensuring continues improvement and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting and documentation
    Ensure accurate reporting of quality and IMS metrics to the Managing Director.
  • Customer Support
    Assist Sales & Marketing with inquiries related to product quality and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in quality management, with experience in managing IMS (ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001).

Knowledges Required:

  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 .
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for product certifications (EU, REACH, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and environmental regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Auditing skills as lead auditor
  • Proficiency in English and Malay language
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, PowerBI)
