Assistant Manager Claim (5 days / Distributor / Shah Alam)

Claims Management:

• Manage the end-to-end process of commercial claims, including validation, documentation, and resolution.
• Ensure claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
• Negotiate settlements with brand principals and commercial teams.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct financial analysis on claims, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports on claims activities, costs, and outcomes for senior management.
• Maintain accurate financial records related to commercial claims.

Process Improvement:

• Evaluate and improve claims handling processes and procedures.
• Implement tools and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Update policies and procedures to align with best practices and regulations.

Client and Supplier Interaction:

• Act as the main contact for brand principals and commercial teams on claims matters.
• Communicate claims processes, financial impacts, and provide updates.
• Resolve any issues related to trade claims promptly.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Work closely with internal teams (AR, AP, and Commercial) to streamline claims processes.
• Coordinate with brand principals to support claim resolution and cost management.
• Align financial and operational strategies across departments.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with trade claims.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company standards.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of claims executives and support staff.
• Provide training, mentorship, and conduct performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role.
• Basic understanding of statistics.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) is necessary for interactions with mandarin speaking principle.
• Willing to work in Shah Alam.
