  • Responsible for purchasing and procurement functions for Local and Oversea purchase.
  • Sourcing materials, goods, products, and services and negotiating the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • To review and update existing and new products' costs and quality to recommend opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Follow up closely with the shipping & forwarding agent on all the import shipments from China or other countries.
  • Deal with suppliers on quality issues, product replacement, sample requests, and pricing.
  • Provide product costing for the sales team and time to time update costing.
  • Able to manage a team of purchasers and work in a team.
  • Handle other ad-hoc matters from time to time assigned by superior.
  • Requirements: -

  • The candidate must possess a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate in Purchasing / Material Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): Mandarin (must) Bahasa Malaysia, English.
  • At least 3-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Add advantage if knows ERP system.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
