About the job

The JMP Malaysia is looking for an Sr. Associate Events Project Manager to perform strategic activities associated with the planning and implementation of marketing and customer care efforts. Our team is successful and growing, which makes it a rewarding place to grow a career.

As a Sr. Associate Events Project Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute integrated activities associated with accelerating revenue and increasing renewal at each stage of the customer journey.
  • Work individually or with a team to project manage the plan, implementation, execution and analysis of regional and national events that include a combination of lead generation and retention efforts.
  • Liaise with multiple organizations across JMP, including the system engineer unit, sales team, and other countries or regions to represent the go-to-market plan and gather feedback to drive the planning process.
  • Provide execution support for sales programs and marketing lead generation campaigns and track results under the direction of Sales and Marketing management.
  • Be in strong contact with external and internal partners to maximize the level of customer support.

Required Qualifications

  • 3~5 years of experience in marketing, customer care, and/or sales within the business-to-business or technology industry. Experience in manufacturing, life sciences or high-tech industries could be a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Management Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Good organizational, project management and facilitation skills.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills and business-to-business acumen.
  • Take accountability and are self-driven.
  • Work effectively in a global team environment with a focus on open communication and respect for cultural diversity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have a technical background and are inspired by innovation of services into the digital environment.
  • Have a customer centric approach and know about the data analysis environment.
  • Knowledge of JMP products, solutions and services preferred.
