Snapshot of the role:
Responsible for the administrative support of a full spectrum of human resources functions including payroll and benefit administration, recruitment and permit application, training and development, industrial relations and others.
Job Description:
- Process and prepare monthly payroll and ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Implement HR policies, procedures, and improvement projects to enhance farm operations efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the HR Manager in ensuring compliance with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Liaise with government and statutory bodies to adhere to all relevant rules and regulations.
- Handle sourcing, selection, and recruitment activities to meet operational manpower needs.
- Manage foreign worker administration, including hostel arrangements, insurance, Fomema medical check-ups, passport renewals, and work permit renewals.
- Oversee employee disciplinary matters, conduct counselling, and implement motivation and retention initiatives.
- Address employee grievances to maintain a positive working environment.
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in an HR generalist role, preferably within the agriculture or manufacturing industries.
- Proven experience in local and foreign worker recruitment, industrial relations, payroll, and familiarity with statutory regulations and laws.
- Strong knowledge of the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
- Self-motivated, with a positive attitude, and capable of interacting with all levels of personnel.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, high integrity, and strong work ethic.
- Must be willing to be based at our farm in Raub, Pahang.
