Mechanical & Electrical Drafter

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings, plans, and layouts using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and blueprints, to support engineering teams and contractors during construction.
• Work closely with mechanical and electrical engineers to understand project requirements and translate concepts into detailed technical drawings.
• Revise and update drawings as needed based on feedback, project changes, or client requirements, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations, and maintain a high level of quality control.
• Coordinate with the project team, consultants, and contractors to ensure that the drawings are aligned with the overall project schedule and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Must hold a relevant certificate or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with a consulting firm, specifically in drafting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and precise technical drawings.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze technical drawings and resolve drafting issues during the design and implementation stages.
