The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales
  • Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
  • Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
  • Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
  • Implement action plans (e.g. make regular calls/visits, take orders, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned territories
  • Execute sales activities for assigned territories, including product portfolios and marketing plan introductions, order taking and etc
  • Record sales data for reporting and tracking purposes. Maintain relevant customer data in appropriate customer relationship management databases
  • Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, customer satisfaction, etc.
  • Maintain a customer complaints/issues log and follow up on customer issues
  • Respond to customer orders and queries. Inform current and prospective customers of promotions and new/upgraded products
  • Responsible for payment and collections to ensure payment are collected promptly.

Qualifications

  • Diploma, Degree or professional qualification in business or a related discipline
  • OTC or FMCG experience & Knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Demonstrate fluency in English -both written and spoken
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in related field.
