To monitor and maintain the wastewater treatment plant by regular checking on operation and maintenance activities about planning/schedule.
To control chemical and spare inventory.
To identify the training requirement for the personnel in the Wastewater Department and ensure they are suitably trained for the job requirement.
Routine or scheduled maintenance is carried out on time.
Maintain the equipment daily log book and ensure consumption per the norms.
To perform the gam analysis for the utilities and chemicals consumed beyond the norms.
To ensure equipment health and efficiency.
Ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
Ensure legal compliance of the facilities.
Coordinate with all internal departments for any technical matter.
Preparation of budget and monitoring of actual consumption periodically.
Support and participate in Audits.
Planning and progress on any revamp, modification or shutdown jobs.
Constant emphasize on plant reliability & cost savings.
Facilitate and support for minor and major projects.
Responsible for wastewater system PM activities.
Coordinate with inside and outside vendors for completion of the job.
To manage and operate the wastewater treatment plant.
To monitor wastewater treatment plant final discharge water to meet DOE standard requirements.
To liaise with DOE for licensing and compliance issues.
Work closely with DOE for all the new requirement updates.
Prepare monthly performance monitoring report as DOE requires.
Any other duties which may assigned by the superior.
