Job Description:

As the DGM & HOD, you will oversee and manage the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring the strategic alignment of human resource initiatives with the company’s overall objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and manage for full spectrum of Human Resource functions which include recruitment, training & development, IR & employee relations, employee engagement, compensation & benefits, policies & procedures, performance management, HRMS and other HR related support services.
  • Streamline and enhance HR functions to optimize efficiency and performance.
  • Design, implement, and oversee HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Address and manage conflict resolution across the organization to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Drive culture transformation initiatives through targeted HR strategies and activities.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement programs to foster a supportive and dynamic workplace.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive talent management and succession planning frameworks.
  • Provide monthly reports and updates to the Management Team.
  • Handle additional HR-related tasks and special projects as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably Human Resource Management or equivalent
  • At least have a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in Human Resource Management, including at least 5 years leading an HR team in a company with a workforce of at least 200 employees.
  • Experience working in an engineering or consulting firm is an advantage.
  • Strong integrity and leadership skills, along with excellent consultative and negotiation abilities.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, including the Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good interpersonal skills and resourceful in problem solving with the ability to work independently
