Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

• Develop and execute social media content strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Create visually appealing and engaging posts, stories, and videos that showcase the restaurant's authentic Malay cuisine, ambiance, and customer experiences.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, comments, and reviews promptly, and maintain a positive online reputation for the restaurant.

2. Advertising and Promotion:

• Plan and execute digital advertising campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC) ads, display ads, and sponsored posts, to drive traffic and conversions both online and offline.
• Create compelling ad creatives and promotional materials that align with the restaurant's brand identity and messaging.

3. Brand Awareness and Campaigns:

• Conceptualize and implement marketing campaigns and promotions, particularly during festive seasons and special occasions, to attract new customers and drive repeat business.
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborations with local influencers, food bloggers, and community organizations to enhance brand visibility and reach.

4. Content Creation:

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of the restaurant's dishes, interior, events, and customer interactions to be used for social media, website, and marketing materials.
• Edit and optimize multimedia content using relevant software tools eg : adobe creative suite (adobe photoshop, illustrator), canva etc to ensure consistency, professionalism, and alignment with brand guidelines.

5. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management:

• Interact with customers during their visits to the restaurant, taking photos of satisfied diners and capturing their feedback and testimonials for use in marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain a database of customer contacts for email marketing campaigns, loyalty programs, and special promotions, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building efforts.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, preferably within the F&B industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and visual content creation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in social media marketing, SEO, and online advertising.
