Daifuku Oceania is a global leader in automation. We have an opportunity for Quality Superintendent to become part of our experienced Factory Quality team based in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

About the role

As a Quality Superintendent, you are responsible for supervising the quality control staff, planning and coordination, and control of quality matters both internally and externally.

As an incumbent to the role, you must ensure all disciplines comply with applicable specifications, codes, regulations, and requirements of the quality standards established in the contract are met.

Responsibilities

Working as part of our Quality Team, your key functions include, but not limited to:

  • Planning and supervising Quality team activities.
  • Assigning Job Tasks for each technician/inspector following the Production Planning
  • Managing Quality inspection equipment, facilities, Calibration & lab.
  • Establishing & managing Quality procedures and processes specified in each section (Incoming & Outgoing).
  • Analysing & managing quality of parts and products from internal and external. (Non-Conformance items)
  • Assist in leading ISO document preparation & certification.
  • Monitoring incoming materials and coordinate with suppliers to meet production activities needs.
  • Monitor Quality manhours allocation by project to meet the target.
  • Lead and manage Nonconformance Report (NCR) as per the set guidelines.
  • Reporting on Quality Control, Supplier Audits progress & improvements.

Your skills & experience

Your qualifications and experience will include:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Manufacturing, production, or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 Years of working experience in; Process Control, Quality Audits, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or serving as a Lean engineer.
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Previous experience in Quality Engineering, Supplier improvement & Audits
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Strong Inpection Tools knowledge
  • Good techincial product knowledge​
