About your role :
Carro Malaysia is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Manager for Retail Sales to oversee and drive the retail sales operations in the Central Klang Valley & Southern region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing multiple retail outlets, leading sales teams, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the automotive market, and a proven track record in retail sales management.


Job responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Drive sales performance across the region by setting clear targets and monitoring progress.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute regional promotional campaigns.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate retail sales teams across multiple outlets to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales capabilities of the team.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of sales staff.
  • Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all retail outlets.
  • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of retail outlets, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize sales performance.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of vehicles and other products.
  • Prepare and manage the regional budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
  • Monitor financial performance, including sales revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
  • Provide regular reports on regional sales performance, market conditions, and business trends to senior management.


Job requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably in the automotive industry and experience in organizing and executing roadshows or similar events.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large sales teams across multiple locations.
  • Expertise in budget management and cost control.
  • Excellent travel logistics coordination skills.
