Your new role
As the Head of Operations Excellence, you will be at the helm of driving transformative change and operational efficiency within a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment. This role is not just about managing operations; it's about redefining them. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals, leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative strategies to ensure seamless logistics operations that exceed client expectations. Your role is pivotal to the business's success, as you will be the cornerstone of operational excellence, ensuring that every aspect of the logistics process is optimised and efficient with your leadership setting the standard for operational performance, driving the company to new heights and setting benchmarks for the entire logistics sector.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience in Logistics Operations Excellence & certified with Lean Six Sigma within the Logistics Service Provider industry.
• Implement and establish regional and market-specific business architecture strategies and roadmaps - ensuring initiatives are in harmony with the organization's overall strategic goals.
• Create and execute regionally aligned programs and frameworks aimed at enhancing Contract Logistics (CL) Operations performance.
• Focused on process re-engineering to deliver efficiency and productivity gains, standardise operations, apply industry standards, and facilitate best practice sharing.
• Design and roll out regionally aligned programs and frameworks to elevate Contract Logistics (CL) Operations performance.
• Establish and conduct a comprehensive functional skills' matrix to identify and track skill levels across the organisation.
• Conducting thorough training needs analysis to design and implement effective training programs.
• Experienced in matrix organisational structures.
• Strong people management skills.
