Job Purpose:
To work as part of the TA Change Management Team in Kuala Lumpur on fund setup for Transfer Agency. The role will involve new client onboarding, new funds setup and fund static data changes for Transfer Agency in the Transfer Agency applications.

Job Background/context:

Transfer Agency has many new clients onboarding, funds launches and funds under administration in different countries in the APAC region. This requires Change Management to help in such onboarding and fund setup before Transfer Agency Operations start with the day to day fund activities. Each setup is considered as a project on its own which the TA Change Management team will manage till completion. The Kuala Lumpur TA Change Management team supports Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup of new client / fund manager in the TA system
  • Setup of new funds / share classes to be launched by a client in the TA system
  • Setup of new client / fund manager / new fund/ share classes to be launched in relevant surrounding application to the TA system
  • Perform static data changes for the fund manager / funds / share classes where required in the TA system
  • Prepare and store all relevant documentation / artefacts related to each new fund manager / fund / share classes setup / static data changes

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / business studies
  • Minimum 1 years’ industry experience in Transfer Agency / Fund Administration in a data processing capacity.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision, self- starter, adaptable
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a high performance team.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to negotiate with and influence internal operational staff at all levels and project counterparts
  • Ability to manage numerous competing concurrent activities
  • Effective time management and ability to adhere to deadlines is required.
  • Highly PC literate (e.g. Visio, Project, PowerPoint, Quality Centre, Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly motivated
