The Successful Applicant
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accountancy, or a related professional qualification.
Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional tax experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, ideally within a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation (MNC).
Tax and Financial Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Malaysia's corporate tax, indirect taxes, transfer pricing regulations, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles and Financial Reporting Standards.
Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
Analytical and Organizational Abilities: Demonstrates initiative, independence, and a commitment to continuous process improvement, with exceptional analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
