We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer proficient in full spectrum of payroll processing to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible to verify time attendance and leave record to ensure the accuracy of payroll input, statutory contributions up till bank payment. Your focus is to ensure the robustness of payroll system to generate accurate payroll payout to employees and statutory bodies on a timely manner.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of payroll for all group of employees – month end and advance payout
  • Prepare Expatriate payroll
  • Prepare tax clearance for foreign worker and expatriate prior to their repatriation
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of required statutory payment- Tax, EPF, Socso, EIS
  • Update new hire compensation in payroll related systems
  • Brief new hire on the C&B policy during the NEO
  • Be the main contact for the management of the payroll related systems, ie: MYHR, Kronos, SAP, ADP, Global Apps.
  • Prepare EA forms
  • Manage and update personal files
  • Raise payment request and uploading of bank file
  • Update reports – Enablon, Home & Host Country, Leave accrual and other payroll related reports (if any)
  • Review of yearly shift calendar
  • Involve in monthly payroll meeting to review the monthly closing payroll issues and new updates for process and system improvement and configuration
  • Participate actively in all audits, internal and external
  • Any other work/projects as assigned by the management


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll/C&B or similar role
  • Meticulous
  • Good knowledge of labor payroll legislation
  • Time-management skills – strong follow up and to meet dateline
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.

  • Exposure to Manufacturing Environment
  • Familiarity with HR information system-ADP, Kronos and MYHR and accounting software-SAP
