FINANCE MANAGER/ACCOUNTANT

General Requirement/Job Descriptions:

• Work base either in Miri (Sarawak) serve for mainly Oil & Gas & Petrochemical industries.
• Check and verify the daily and financial operations (invoicing, payments, banking, cash flow forecast and other financial transactions)
• Reviewing the companies’ monthly management accounts, tax computation, financial budget and the audited accounts
• Responsible for the preparation of the company’s yearly financial budget
• Coordinate with internal team ensure the information and documents flow smoothly to finance team
• To manage the cash flow of company and arrange for collection and payment of company
• Responsible for full sets of accounts, ensure completeness, accuracy of accounts and up to date monthly
• Liaise closely and handle timely with the external and internal auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers in relation to the relevant matters
• Ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and government regulations and other statutory bodies requirements
• Involve in all aspects of accounting/tax/corporate planning and proposal as well as ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time

Qualification:

• Must possess at least an Advance Diploma or Degree in Accounting or finalist of professional accounting bodies such as ACCA, CPA or MICPA
• At least 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
• Candidate with auditing background will be an added advantage
• Knowledge in MFRS/IFRS and tax legislation
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Responsible, strong analytical skills and good problem-solving skills
• Possess a good work ethic with accountability, positive attitude and interpersonal skills
